The ALIZE CO2 is the newest product of the ALIZE range from Anjos, consisting of exhaust valves able to self - adjust their opening and thus the airflow. Remote control of the exhaust valve and monitoring of the indoor conditions (humidity, CO2 and air flow reading) are possible through the VMC Connect smartphone application. The valve is suitable for a 12V or 230V electrical connection and is made of white polystyrene with a removable front grille cover that allows easy maintenance and cleaning.
The ALIZE CO2 in particular, varies its free area in 5 stages: 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100% based on the carbon dioxide level of the room it is installed. Based on the carbon dioxide level the room, the resulting air flow can vary between 10 – 100 m3/hr for nominal flow at 80 Pa.
The Alize range from Anjos can be grouped into two main categories, the Flow modulating and the Self-regulating valves. Flow modulating valves have the ability to vary the resulting airflow with a specific range of airflows based on specific parameters (eg. Humidity or CO2 levels). On the other hand, Self-regulating extract valves are able to operate on a single set-point, and automatically modulate the valve opening in order to maintain that constant air flow. Both Flow modulating and Self-regulating extract valves have the a booster function option that can be activated via pull chord, a push button or presence detector according to the Alize model
The Alize extraction vents are frequently utilized in spaces where humidity control is a priority. The Hygro version of the Alize is an example of a flow modulating extract valve that controls the resulting air extraction rate based on the level of relative humidity. The humidity level of a space is determined with a nylon braid that modulated the flap controlling the free area of the air passage. The extraction vents opens gradually from a relative humidity of about 30% up to a relative humidity of 70%.
