MPS - Kitchen extract fan

This high-performance extract fan is specifically designed for kitchen fat exhaust applications. The galvanized steel casing is lined with 40 mm of noncombustible mineral wool (DIN EN 13501-1, Class A1) for sound and heat insulation. Adjustable mounting rails with rubber vibration dampers allow flexible installation with three possible discharge directions. The air tube connectors have standard dimensions and include double lip seals for airtight connections. An integrated grease pan and condensate drain, usable only when installed with an upward discharge, ensure proper drainage. The swing-out fan section also serves as an access door, lockable in the open position for easy cleaning and maintenance. The backward-curved impeller, made of powder-coated steel, is dynamically balanced to G6.3 (DIN/ISO 1940) standards and mounted on a motor shaft with a special seal to prevent oil and water ingress. The sealed, maintenance-free ball bearings ensure long-lasting performance. The motor is located outside the airflow, providing optimal protection against dirt and grease. Depending on requirements, the fan can be equipped with a voltage-controllable single-phase motor, a frequency-controllable three-phase motor, or an energy-efficient EC motor. Motor thermal protection must be installed on-site via a motor protection switch or frequency converter.
